School Finance is a complex topic. Join us for a community session to find out the "Whats, Hows, and Whys" of school funding. Presented by Dr. Amidzich and Jonathan Mitchell, this session is held annually and is designed to shed light on the complex subject of School Finance in Wisconsin and Greendale Schools. This event will take place on Thursday, May 1, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the library at Greendale High School.

Join Dr. Amidzich for a morning, in-person meeting to learn more about Greendale Schools on Wednesday, April 30, beginning at 8:45 a.m. at Sugar & Flour Cafe & Bakery, Greendale. CONGRATULATIONS to GHS Theatre's Production of ADDAMS FAMILY for 22 Jerry Award nominations including Outstanding MUSICAL. Winners will be announced in May and the Jerry Awards are June 8 at the Overture Center in Madison. Combined with GHS Theatre's production of SIX, GHS was nominated for 40 Jerry Awards including both shows for Outstanding Musical! Great Work, Panthers!

Greendale Schools Public Policy Priorities serve as the foundation for conversations with our local elected officials as well as key points to share during legislative hearings that occur on these issues in the coming years. These priorities are designed to advocate for our students and community and place our schools in the best position to serve its students and the community. Greendale Schools Special Education Paraprofessional Jennifer Mueller has joined the State of Wisconsin's Pilot Class of its Teacher Apprenticeship Program! Ms. Mueller signed her official apprenticeship document in a ceremony with state officials and the Governor this month. The teacher apprenticeship pilot program is a new addition to a more than 100-year-old training model. The program will train teachers for instruction in elementary and middle school classrooms using the Wisconsin Apprenticeship earn-while-you-learn structure. Participants complete education requirements, certifications, and licensure while learning to be a teacher in the classroom. This is one way the State and local districts are addressing the need for licensed educators. Congratulations, Jennifer!
