Track and Field (Grades 7 and 8)

• General Information for the Season

  • Meet Schedule

    • The meet schedule may still change between now and the start of the season. Information regarding any changes will be emailed to you by the coaches.

• 1st Practice: Monday, April 7, at 3:15 p.m. 

• Coaches will send out more information regarding practice, meet, and team information.

• What do athletes need to do to participate?

  • If you are interested, please SIGN UP HERE. The form only allows students, not parents/guardians, to respond. Please sign up by Wednesday, March 19, at 3:00 p.m.

• You must order a $10.00 green uniform t-shirt HERE (and you may also order other GMS Track and Field spiritwear, if you would like).

• Pay the $60 athletics fee  If an athlete paid for this earlier in the year, then they do not need to pay it again.

• Complete a physical --and submit  THIS FORM to the GMS office. This is also found on the  GMS Athletics website. Please note:

  • The form Must be on file before a student attends the first practice.

  • Physicals dated April 1, 2023, or after, will count toward this

  • You may receive a Physical through the Greendale Nurse Practitioner (through Aurora Healthcare at no charge).

  • What else should athletes do?

    • Review the Code of Conduct on Page 27 of our Student Handbook.

    • Submit the Transportation Form  if, at any point an athlete will be using alternate transportation than the school-provided transportation for an event. If an athlete doesn't turn this in, then they MUST take the school-provided transportation to/from an event.
