The trip to JA BizTown is one that our 4th graders look forward to each year. The students put in a tremendous amount of work prior to attending JA BizTown and learn a great deal about their responsibilities as citizens and financial literacy. Each student in the simulated city had a paying job and responsibilities that included voting and abiding by city ordinances. Students also enjoyed the challenge of keeping a check register to manage their funds as they purchased items from a variety of businesses. Thank you to the PTO for supporting a portion of this trip each year so that students are able to connect the dots between what they learn and the real world. #LearnGrowEngageGreendale #CultivatingExcellence
