Greendale’s rich tradition of academic excellence started when the “Greendale School” opened its doors in 1938. Today, over 80 years later, we are proud of our community’s commitment to its educational system.
The Board of Education consists of five community members and two student representatives. The community members are elected by the citizens of Greendale to oversee all aspects of the school district. Members serve for a term of three years. The student representatives, one senior and one junior, serve in an advisory capacity. The Board of Education meets on the first and third Monday of each month to discuss the business of the district and set policy. The meetings are open to the public. Board meeting agendas are posted on the school district’s website prior to each meeting as well as at the Public Library. We invite you to attend any of our meetings and welcome you to become a part of our school district.
Please feel free to contact any of the Board Members if you have questions or concerns. Board Member contact information is included on the website under Board Biographies.
