General School Board Election Information
- Board member elections are held annually at the spring election on the first Tuesday in April. (April 1, 2025)
- Each year there are one or two seats available. For 2025, there will be two seats available.
- A Board member's three year term begins on the 4th Monday in April following the election. (April 28, 2025 - April 24, 2028)
- The Board shall hold its annual reorganization meeting to elect Board officers on the fourth Monday in April. (April 28, 2025)

School Board Election - April 1, 2025
- The Official Notice of the School Board Election was published in the November 20, 2024 issue of the South NOW newspaper.
- Information for 2025 School Board Election Candidates
- Packets are available for pick up at the district office at 6815 Southway, Greendale, Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or contact Christy Helminiak, Assistant to the Board of Education.
- Candidate deadline for filing ballot access documents is 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025 to district office.
- The filing office will be closed November 27-29, December 23-January 1st.

Ballot order will be determined on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 3:30pm in the District Office and will be livestreamed on the district Facebook page.
School Board Academy
If interested in running, consider attending the School Board Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 in the conference room of the District Office located at 6815 Southway. Potential candidates will meet with the Superintendent, Director of Business Services and the School Board President to learn about filing, functioning as a candidate, and the Commitment of a Board of Education Member.
