Greendale Schools provides a device to every student which is used in part to:
- Create 21st Century Learners that create, collaborate and communicate
- Eliminate digital divide
- Serve as a platform for Personalized Learning for all students centered around individual learning needs and goals
- Become good digital citizens
- Use digital tools for academic and personal learning
- Support Wisconsin ITL Technology Standards
The Device
Students in grades K-2 have access to an iPad. Grades 2-12 have access to a Chromebook. Both devices are refreshed every four years. An optional insurance plan is available for all student devices. More information on this plan can be found here.
Cases
Chromebook cases are provided for all Middle School devices and must remain on the device at all times. Stickers are not allowed on district-owned cases. It is highly recommended that high School students purchase a case.
