Greendale Schools is committed to providing a child-centered learning environment where all students grow and succeed. All schools integrate robust Wisconsin's Multi-Leveled Systems of Support (WiMLSS) into academic programming by providing services, practices, and resources to every learner based upon responsiveness to effective instruction and intervention. Our comprehensive WiMLSS framework ensures that all learners receive the individual support they need to experience academic success.
The Greendale Schools vision for WiMLSS includes three essential components: high-quality classroom instruction, data-driven decision making, and collaboration. In this system, school staff leverage the three essential components at varying levels of intensity to adapt instruction and provide intervention in a responsive manner. Through early identification, proactive support, and responsive interventions, we strive to eliminate barriers to learning and create a nurturing environment that promotes resilience and achievement for all.
A student in need of additional instruction will receive support through the Greendale Schools Levels of Support. The linked document provides an overview of the various levels of support planned for a student.
We are dedicated to cultivating a culture of high expectations and inclusivity, where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered. By providing a continuum of services that range from universal support to targeted and intensive interventions, we ensure that all students receive the right support at the right time. Our overarching goal is to inspire and equip our students to become confident, capable, and accomplished individuals who contribute positively to their communities and the world.
