We look forward to welcoming your family to Time 4 Learning! Below are the answers to some frequently asked questions about the 4K program in Greendale Schools.
How do I register my 4K student?
Greendale Schools uses Infinite Campus for student registration and record keeping. Instructions on how to complete the registration process are found here.
How do I know if my child is in the morning or afternoon session?
Families will be asked to indicate their preferred session of placement (AM or PM) on their child’s registration form. A lottery system will then determine the order in which placement requests will be considered for our AM or PM sessions of 4K.
Is there a waitlist for a preferred session?
Following the lottery, a waitlist will be created for those families whose child is not enrolled in the preferred session. The waitlist order is based on the lottery draw beginning with students who registered from February 14-February 27, 2024. Students who register after February 27, will be added to the end of the waitlist.
Is there before and after school care available for my child?
In addition to Time 4 Learning 4K programming, the Greendale Park and Recreation Department offers a “wrap-around” child care program called “Care 4 Kids” at Highland View. This program is run by the Greendale Park and Rec. Care 4 Kids will offer wrap-around care for both the morning and afternoon 4K sessions at Highland View. Registration for Care 4 Kids will open March 11-15. Registration must be completed in-person at the Greendale Park and Rec office. There are limited spots available, so please plan to register promptly. Please address any questions you may have regarding “Care 4 Kids” child care to the Greendale Park and Recreation Department. Programming fees can be found on the Greendale Park and Rec website.

What are the start and end times of the school day?
The AM session meets from 9:00-11:30 am.
The PM session meets from 12:50-3:20 pm.
Can my child get bussed to and from school?
Time 4 Learning does not provide transportation for students.
What school supplies will my child need for 4K?
Our 4K supply list is separate from the Highland View supply list for other grade levels. The supply list will be shared this summer. Please bring supplies to your Welcome to 4K appointment on August 21, 2024.
What might a typical day in 4K look like?
On a given day, your child will be engaged in group time, stories and songs, early math and literacy experiences, learning centers, play time, outdoor play, and other fun and educational activities. Time 4 Learning's preschool curriculum is based on Wisconsin State Standards. It focuses on the areas of social development, beginning literacy skills, language development, fine and large motor skills, creative arts, math, social studies, science, and technology. Much of your child’s learning will take place through play and hands-on learning experiences.
