Project Scope
The Facilities Improvements focus on Academic Base Plan improvement projects in all five of the District’s school buildings and address needs based on these factors identified by the Panther Community Facilities Advisory Team (PCFAT) and ranked in importance by the community through the survey:
Increasing School Safety and Security
Improving Learning Environments
Creating Flexible and Adaptable Workspaces
Improving Building Efficiency and Sustainability
The chart (left) outlines the facility needs and proposed solutions for each District school. This work is the result of a process that began in 2016 with a Community Visioning session, included the development of a facilities advisory team comprised of Village citizens, and culminated in survey to ask all Greendale residents for their input on how to improve our school facilities. This timeline outlines how the process that led to the referendum question on the November 6, 2018 ballot. Greendale voters approved the $33.8 million facilities referendum. Read the news release.
