Internet Safety ResourcesINTERNET SAFETY STRATEGIES for Parents and Guardians was presented by a team member from the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force to provide strategies and details for what parents and guardians need to know to keep their kids safe online. These links were discussed with participants as excellent resources to help families start conversations with their children, learn about popular apps, set parental controls in app settings, and support individuals through the tip reporting process, should it ever be needed.
Mental Health Crisis ResourcesTaking Care of Your Mental Wellness
Healthy Mind, Health Greendale is a Greendale Health Department action group dedicated to improving the mental health of all who live, work, play and pray in the Greendale community. The group is made up of residents, parents, school district representatives, library staff, Village Trustees, mental health professionals, business owners, first responders, and other individuals who are focused on developing ways to improve mental well-being for residents by fostering an environment for optimal mental health, through providing education, promoting resources, reducing stigma, and offering support. Crisis support is an important part of this work and resources for families and individuals in crisis are shared on the Health Department website.

This access is an extension of our work to promote safety and teach good digital habits to all our learners. Information on the app and how to access it is shared here.
