On a bright and sunny Saturday, June 15, 2025, the Greendale High School Class of 2025 celebrated their graduation at Gavinski Stadium. A total of 216 students proudly crossed the stage, officially becoming Greendale Alumni, as their families and friends cheered them on.
The ceremony was filled with inspiring speeches from important members of the school community. School Board President Robert Kobleska, Superintendent Dr. Kimberly Amidzich, and Principal Steve Lodes all shared words of encouragement. Additionally, the four Valedictorians delivered speeches that motivated their classmates to embrace the future.
The event was organized with the help of Senior Class and Student Council Officers, who introduced the speakers and announced the names of the graduates. A special highlight of the ceremony was a speech by Jeff Schaetzke, a beloved theatre and speech teacher at GHS. Schaetzke encouraged the graduates to share their wonderful experiences at Greendale High School with the world as they embark on new adventures.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, senior members of the Band, Choir, and Orchestra performed for the guests. The Senior Band Members played the National Anthem, which was also beautifully signed by Senior American Sign Language Students.
The graduation ceremony was a memorable event, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Class of 2025. Congratulations to all the graduates!
